Susie Wolff (born Susan Stoddart on December 6, 1982) is a British former professional racing driver and current managing director of the F1 Academy.
Early Career: Wolff began her motorsport career in karting, moving to single-seater racing in 2001.
Formula Renault: She competed in the Formula Renault UK Championship for several years, achieving multiple podium finishes.
British Formula Three: Wolff progressed to the British Formula Three Championship, showcasing her talent in a more competitive environment.
DTM: She raced in the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM) from 2006 to 2012 for Mercedes-Benz, becoming a familiar face in the popular touring car series.
Williams F1: Wolff joined Williams as a development driver in 2012 and was later promoted to test driver. She participated in free practice sessions at the British Grand Prix and German Grand Prix, becoming the first woman in 22 years to participate in a Formula One race weekend.
Dare To Be Different: After retiring from racing, Wolff founded "Dare To Be Different," an initiative aimed at increasing female participation in motorsport. The program has since been merged with "More than Equal".
Venturi Formula E: She became team principal of Venturi Formula E Team in 2018 and later became CEO.
F1 Academy: In March 2023, Wolff was appointed as the managing director of the F1 Academy, a new all-female single-seater championship designed to help female drivers progress to higher levels of motorsport.
